Based on user research, context of use and task analysis, usage scenarios are used to build a day in the life of typical user or representative of user group. This service is used to focus product designers and developers on user needs by giving them realistic examples of use based on research

Usage scenarios are generally built during the Visioning phase to help make concrete the user's real requirements and how to satisfy them.

Based on the complexity as well as the timelines and budgets of the client, a number of tools are used to build usage scenarios, including surveys, questionnaires, task analysis and field research.
